Dude…. Kid got skills.

Tuesday nights at The Shed in Cranbourne are a must and it seems there’s a good bunch of dudes shredding on this night. Here’s Luke Parker going higher than I’ve seen anyone else go. That is all. Oh, with style AND tricks. What a jerk!

What a silly human to go so high!

You’ve heard a tonne of crap about the trip we took to Warrnambool over the Labour Day long weekend, now here is a small, chilled edit from the journey. I trust you will enjoy. Thanks to Adam and Doug for piecing this lil jewel together.

I don’t think you’ll ever be able to convince me that there is a rider out there who is better than Mike Aitken. He is my hero. Now watch and be prepared to wet yourself.

Big Freakin FUNdraiser Jam!

What happens when you can’t walk and are strapped to a chair all day but you have more energy than the ants on the ‘V’ commercial? You get your hypo ass down to the skate park and shred that thing in your wheelchair.

Riding Way is proud to present the Let’s Ride Jam to help raise some money to help these kids share the same dreams we have. Come down to Riverslide Skate Park on April 7th, 2012 and share in the festivities. There’s plenty of give-a-ways from all the big companies not to mention, lucky dip bags and raffles that could have you going home with a complete new bike!

See you there!

Mix it up.

As much as I love BMX, I also love my commuter fixed geared bike. The idea of having it set up as simple as possible is awesome because it relates a lot to my BMX. It’s just another way to get around faster ha, so if any of you are interested in them, mine is a Marin which obviously is available in store.

These are a few pictures from a while ago. He’s certainly different to how I work but that the best thing about him. He freakin rules! No doubt you’ve seen his videos and are already in awe of his steeze on the streets. Have a look.

A few words from Andy ‘CS5′ Hardy

Mamo and myself just yesterday headed out to Mt Eliza for a blast of the new bowl in hope of getting some shots in this beautiful piece of cement.

Unfortunately we arrived to find a plethora of scooter kids and illiterate parents watching their kids almost get run over a multitude of times by people trying to ride the bowl.
After a few lines and as much time sitting on the deck as it took to drive their we decided to head back to Frankston to get a shot in the bowl, and have a quick burn before the sun slid over the horizon.
Hope you all enjoy!

Chris Nicol

Chris Nicol is blowing up everywhere but unfortunately, almost literally. Chris was shredding at Rampfest on Friday and was blasting triple whips when he landed a bit silly and his knee ‘kinda popped’. After discussions with the doctors, he’s been given a green light but must take it easy. Keep your fingers crossed that it’s all good. He’s a tough bloke, so I’m sure it’s good as his inverts. Peep the picture. Dang!

From John's 40th at The Shed, Chris's bike can get upside-down!

art school

So for those of you who don’t know, I’m in my 3rd and final year at the VCA studying Fine Art Photography. I have a tute in a couple of weeks from one of the curators/gallery staff at George Paton Gallery, so hopefully that goes well and my friend Josh Bejan and I will have a show there.

I’ve also got a collaborative piece in a show at the moment in langford 120 in North Melbourne, its super close to that really low flat bar spot if anyone knows that. I suggest you go and have a look at my work and ride the spot! haha.

On the 17th of April my friends and I are having an exhibition at the VCA student Gallery, where the concept/theme for the show the obstruction that bigger is better. No work is allowed to be smaller than 2m on its shortest length. Those openings are always fun and there are a ton of art babes.

So, Trent Bucknell decided first thing he’d do after joining the Riding Way family was to crack his shin bone. Nice huh! Well, rather than sulking in the corner, he and his family came down to hang with us on our recent trip to Warrnambool and he also shot some photographs. Have a look now kids!
