My bike is my car. I love it. I never, ever thought I’d be saying that about a road bike but this bike, and what I’m getting out of it, is the dream. When I started riding so very long ago, I was a BMXer through and through, and it helped developed friendships that will last a lifetime, gave me opportunities to see stuff I never thought possible and ultimately changed my life forever. Now, I’m older and having spent so many years pushing my body, it’s hard for me to ride BMX like I used to and so the road bike was an almost natural progression.
So, here she is, my 2011 Fuji SST 3.0.

I painted her black. She had way to many logos on her so we dulled her down and helped her fly under the radar. I didn’t realise however that the market was about to explode with a tonne of matt black and thus bringing more attention to the cutie. I’m currently trying to find the exact replacement colour. Have you got any suggestions?
I have been quite busy of late with travelling to Vietnam which is one crazy country (you will never forget your first taxi ride so crazy) but also so fun. Are life’s are so much more different to there’s for example at night they all come up and cook and eat on the side walk and then wash there dishes in the gutter if they are lucky enough to live in the city I am so very grateful that i live in Australia but saying that Vietnam is so beautiful and every one over there is just so happy and welcoming to tourists like us unlike Australia were it seems that every one in the city thinks there to good for everyone and that tourists are just so annoying. But other than Vietnam I have been riding so much and having so much fun. i love bmx
Checking in for an update…
Trent Bucknell is young and he goes REALLY HIGH. Here, featured in Focalpoint Magazine, Trent goes higher than ever before in the Shed Bowl. BOOOM
Friday Foto has been M.I.A. for a few weeks, so here’s a wee catch up……..
Chris Nicol get a small Unit ‘Hook Up’ & you know he deserves it! To say the kid shreds is a huge understatement!
Here’s what he has to say…
Heaps has been going on for me lately, I just got hooked up by unit, been riding sooo much and my physio has said I have made a full recovery from my knee operation!
So happy with how things are going for me at the moment and for things I have in the works now that I will let everyone know as soon as I can in the near future!
The unit thing came about by one of my good friends John Buultjens pulling some strings and showing Allan hardy at unit what I could do on a bike, Allan contacted me and asked if i would like some product from unit as a hook up, and I was accepted his offer real quick! But it’s just a hook up at the moment until hopefully one day something bigger can come from this.
But yea, that’s enough about me. The weathers nice so get off the computer and go ride!!”
Focal Point have some new hoodies out and who better to model them than our own Alex Mamo. This kid kills it on a bike and has a torso that sends the ladies wild. Check him out. Haha.
Team rider DYLAN PELL is doing well in the USA. Here’s a quick video of him SHREDDING.
This one’s of my boy Dylan Pell. Get on that!
Dylan Pell is in America causing a ruckas. He sent me a text today saying, “Miss you Gorak” closely followed by a second text saying “Oh, and I thought I’d let you know I got second in the Free Flow BMX Park Comp” Now he might be staying over there for another month. Congrats dude.
Recently placed nicely on the pages of 2020 BMX Magazine, Adam Stone get himself a sweet picture for your desktop.
