BMX Video: Geoff Slattery – Markit
Geoff Slattery is always a pleasure to watch. You may remember his bone shattering good section in the Anthem 2 DVD. This edit doesn’t disappoint either, sit back, open your eyes and caress the shred boner with this solid web edit.
BMX Video: Ryan Guettler about his injuries.
“If you’re not crashing on your BMX, you’re not trying hard enough” is a saying I’ve heard and used a lot over the years. When you’re out on injury and you can see everyone else riding and having fun it’s a tough gig but there’s always a way to stay connected. It’s actually how I got into photography. Now look at me.
Here’s a little insight into the injury list from Ryan Guettler and how he deals with it. It surprised me a little with how good this was to watch. Sit back and enjoy…
Premium BMX
Being somewhat of a photographer, I’m always looking at imagery when watching movies and web videos alike. This one by Premium BMX had me from the first scene. Watch a bunch of dudes shred the streets of North Carolina.
BMX Video: Changa’s Bangers
Video: Trails POV.
This is just amazing. This point of view really get’s me pumped and almost gives you a true feeling of what it’s like…
Fuji Norcom – Damn That’s Fast…
“The Norcom Straight represents the pinnacle of Fuji innovation, design, and engineering; and we’re a brand that’s been around for more than a century,” explained Fuji VP of Marketing Karen Bliss. “We’re proud to introduce one of the fastest bikes in the world, as proven by our trips to the A2 Wind Tunnel. But most importantly, the Norcom Straight offers more positioning options than any other superbike out there because we believe that if speed is the goal, fit comes first.”
Cult v Slayer.
Slayer is BMX. It was the soundtrack to my life for many years and when I hear the track Raining Blood I am transported to the Dave Parrick masterpiece “Nowhere Fast” and Dave Young’s section. Cult and the Australian Distro, Selekt, have brought out a fresh new frame in REALLY REALLY LIMITED NUMBERS recognising the significance of Slayer in BMX. If you don’t own any Slayer, get on your iTunes and buy some. If you understand what I’m rambling about, buy this frame. It will not disappoint.
Adam Dyson
You’ll recognise this name if you’ve ever watched any of our latest videos. Adam is a rad guy and is a master of the video maker machine. He also has a rad take on BMX and a unique riding style that gets you stoked from start to end. Watch now, you will NOT be disappointed.
Get High – on a bike…
Who would have thought a major trouble on your morning ride would be an overpass. Well, on a bike like this, it’s bound to happen. Watch the video of one man’s journey to the beach on the tallest bike I’ve ever seen…
Back on the BMX Lately…
I needed to get out of the house with the wee child on Sunday and so BMX was calling. I had planned on shooting a bunch of photos for this here blog post but instead just had fun blasting around with my daughter, Evelyn, my nephew and my parents and also good mate, Chris. We started at Hill n Dale for a warm-up, then soon headed to Eastfield BMX Track where Evie proceeded to go over the bars on my nephews electric quad bike. Like a trooper, all she wanted to do was get back on. After a few ‘fast’ laps we moved on towards Lilydale bowl.
Late in the day I realised I had wanted to shoot some pics and so I snapped a quick simple shot of Chris shredding the manual at Lilydale bowl. I like riding with Chris. I dare say, weather permitting, we’ll be doing something similar next week if you’re interested in joining us.
Big Baz
Fastest Wheel Building Around.
Yesterday was a day like any other. I had some repairs to do in the workshop and a list longer than my arm of wheels that needed to be built. So, I got to work. I decided I should start timing myself with wheels again and my first wheel was laced in about 6 and a half minutes. Not bad I thought, but I wasn’t really trying. The next wheel I decided to ‘prepare myself’ a little better and give it a solid crack. I laid out all the spokes and grabbed the hub and rim and off I went. All I wanted to do was beat 5 minutes and I seemingly did it with ease. 4 minutes and 25.2 seconds. WHAT!!
The wheel still needs to be trued and tensioned at this stage but laced 100% and still at the highest quality, so much so the all labels line up when looking at it from the drive side (show side of the bike) and through the valve hole.
Yeew!
Mike Hucker Rules…
Tabes for the Babes
This looks like a bit of fun… I need that hip flask near the end.

Cam White + Friends SHRED.
