Fuji Norcom – Damn That’s Fast…
“The Norcom Straight represents the pinnacle of Fuji innovation, design, and engineering; and we’re a brand that’s been around for more than a century,” explained Fuji VP of Marketing Karen Bliss. “We’re proud to introduce one of the fastest bikes in the world, as proven by our trips to the A2 Wind Tunnel. But most importantly, the Norcom Straight offers more positioning options than any other superbike out there because we believe that if speed is the goal, fit comes first.”
Back on the BMX Lately…
I needed to get out of the house with the wee child on Sunday and so BMX was calling. I had planned on shooting a bunch of photos for this here blog post but instead just had fun blasting around with my daughter, Evelyn, my nephew and my parents and also good mate, Chris. We started at Hill n Dale for a warm-up, then soon headed to Eastfield BMX Track where Evie proceeded to go over the bars on my nephews electric quad bike. Like a trooper, all she wanted to do was get back on. After a few ‘fast’ laps we moved on towards Lilydale bowl.
Late in the day I realised I had wanted to shoot some pics and so I snapped a quick simple shot of Chris shredding the manual at Lilydale bowl. I like riding with Chris. I dare say, weather permitting, we’ll be doing something similar next week if you’re interested in joining us.

Trials. Trails are the best in my eyes and as I am about to embark on a re-build in my yard, I went to the interwebs to find more inspiration. Join me as I stroll through the depths of the inter-nerd in search of BMX Trails Gold.

Sundays
We work six days a week and are open long hours so when Sunday comes along, we make sure we get lost. Sometime we’ll ride, other times we go in search of great adventure and this Sunday just gone was a prime example. Deep into the Forrest we strolled, being mystified at every turn. Get outside and explore. There’s adventure awaiting.

Bike Check…
My bike is my car. I love it. I never, ever thought I’d be saying that about a road bike but this bike, and what I’m getting out of it, is the dream. When I started riding so very long ago, I was a BMXer through and through, and it helped developed friendships that will last a lifetime, gave me opportunities to see stuff I never thought possible and ultimately changed my life forever. Now, I’m older and having spent so many years pushing my body, it’s hard for me to ride BMX like I used to and so the road bike was an almost natural progression.

Modifications
I painted her black. She had way to many logos on her so we dulled her down and helped her fly under the radar. I didn’t realise however that the market was about to explode with a tonne of matt black and thus bringing more attention to the cutie. I’m currently trying to find the exact replacement colour. Have you got any suggestions?
Bikes4Life
A massive thanks to all that helped out today with getting all the old clunkers to the Bikes4Life.org warehouse. Had them stacked pretty high on four trailers and it still took two trips. But it was nothing compared to the amount of bikes they’ve collected. Good work guys. Keep it up. Plus, thanks to Brian, Ken and my dad for stacking bikes and steering the trailers down.
Bike Lanes
Riding home last night I discovered a ‘slight issue’ with regards to the width of the bike lanes on Princes Hwy. I greatly appreciate the efforts the local councils are going to to ensure the safety of all road users but it may be an idea that you make your bike lanes wide enough for your stencil. Thanks.

News with Trent.
Hey world,
I have been quite busy of late with travelling to Vietnam which is one crazy country (you will never forget your first taxi ride so crazy) but also so fun. Are life’s are so much more different to there’s for example at night they all come up and cook and eat on the side walk and then wash there dishes in the gutter if they are lucky enough to live in the city I am so very grateful that i live in Australia but saying that Vietnam is so beautiful and every one over there is just so happy and welcoming to tourists like us unlike Australia were it seems that every one in the city thinks there to good for everyone and that tourists are just so annoying. But other than Vietnam I have been riding so much and having so much fun. i love bmx
