News from Trent.

Trent is RAD. He goes fast and he goes high. I rode at the Shed Skate Park on Tuesday night and witnessed Trent fang in from nowhere and blast one of the back quarters. He’s just RAD. Here’s what he has been up to of late.

“Hello world. Lately I have been getting back into riding since my broken leg, and I am loving it so much. You do not realise how much fun you are really having until you have to stop and by god i hope i never have to stop again.”

Words with Chris Nicol

“Hey guys! Haven’t been up to all that much lately, having a ride here and there and just pretty much taking it easy because my knee is still pretty wrecked! I go in for surgery on Tuesday (the 19th) and should be back riding in no time!”

Kai Moody Ouched….

So I’ve been sitting on the couch for almost a week now after crashing a tuck air at Rampfest indoor skatepark, Im not sure as to what damage has been done due to the amount of swelling in the ankle when x-rayed. The gorgeous doctor i was greeted with diagnosed my ankle with torn ligaments, my hip with pulled muscles and my knee with bone bruising so nothing new and exciting, not sure how long I’ll be out for but i have been watching bmx edits all day every day and am ludicrously keen to get riding again. And here are some photos of me taken by my good friend Kip Bundy.

Friday Foto

Hello. This week I decided to show you that I can ride. (debatable I know!) Here, Phil Johnston has captured me mid table on backyard ramp. Not bad for an old man with a shit back.

Kai Moody is THAT good.

Kai Moody is popping up everywhere at the moment and with good reason. This kid is happy to be alive and shows it by shredding! Look here at the pictures that have been kindly donated by James Paterson.

Chris Nicol at Newton’s

Well this past 5 days I have been in Sydney competing in the newtons nation contest. I signed up for both disciplines (dirt and mini ramp) in the pro category for the first time in my life!
In mini ramp I only just made finals as I qualified last which was fair enough considering I was against some of the biggest names in bmx such as Kyle baldock, Ryan guettler, cam pianta, etc.
After qualifying for mini ramp was qualifying for dirt, I rode terrible in that. On my first run I popped out my knee, again. That ruined all my runs which didn’t let me qualify for finals, pretty bummed about that. But then the mini ramp pro final came around the day after and I rode the best I have ever ridden! So even if I placed last I still would have been stoked. Anyway I ended up throwing down some pretty consistent moves and JUST fell short of 3rd place by a quarter of a point to Ryan guettler, then mini, then Kyle baldock! Can’t even describe how stoked I am right now!
Thanks to everyone that made this weekend happen, and a big thanks to pilgrim and riding way!

Family Man Cheese

As many of you will know, I am a family man. My family is everything to me, almost as much as bikes are. Here is a photo that good friend Jack Kelly shot of me and my wee child, Evelyn, a few months back.

Family

Easter timez

I am on uni holidays, which is nice in a way, but also quite average. I spent a bit of time down on the Mornington Peninsula chilling out with my family which was nice. I also spent way to much time thinking, thinking and even more thinking about this artwork I am currently working on. All this thinking is eating me alive, haha. My friends and I are having a show at the VCA student gallery one week from today (tues 16th) it starts at 6 I’m pretty sure and if you have any interest in art or hot art babes then you should come, or if you like free alcohol or particularly if you have lots of money and want to buy my artwork.

Here is a photo of me txting, how cute. Shot by baby LK

Luke Parker

Dude…. Kid got skills.

Tuesday nights at The Shed in Cranbourne are a must and it seems there’s a good bunch of dudes shredding on this night. Here’s Luke Parker going higher than I’ve seen anyone else go. That is all. Oh, with style AND tricks. What a jerk!

What a silly human to go so high!
