Riding Way Bike Shop FAQs

It's our goal at Riding Way to make your shopping experience as easy and pleasurable as possible. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions written out to hopefully help you along your purchase journey. If you need more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.

 

 

 

Is this product in stock?
The short answer is, YES. If you can add a product on our website to the cart, it is in stock and available to purchase. There are but a few exceptions, however. Due to supplier and warranty restrictions, all bikes must be collected from our Poath Rd store but as it's a relatively small shop, we can only fit a few bikes in the showroom. We list all bikes available to us online and will complete all the neccessary sizing measurements and customising in store and organise a fresh, brand new bike to be built, just for you.

 

I can't find what I'm looking for, is this all you have in stock?
Almost everything we have in stock is online and available for purchase. Unfortunately, as we mentioned in the previous answer, we're in a small shop and cannot fit everything on the shelves. If you can't find it, chances are we can get it for you. All you need to do is Contact Us.

 

Why do some products have no descriptions or photos?
Filling out product details take a long time. Doing that for over 1000 products is a full time job and with only one bloke looking after that, it takes even longer. Bare with us. Also, if there is a product you want info on, let us know, we'll update that one immediately.

 

How do I order bike parts online?
Ordering should be fairly straight forward! The way it works is;
1. Find the products you love
2. Click 'add to cart'
3. Once all your products are added, go to 'My Cart' and review your products
4. It's here you can add any 'discount codes' you have
5. Make sure you fill in all the details correctly and once submitted DO NOT REFRESH the page. It may take a few minutes to process and refreshing will cause a fault. Be patient, my friends.
6. Allow a couple of days to receive your goods.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We're forever updating our store to ensure your security and to make every effort to use local, Australian businesses. With that, we now use Pin Payments for our online orders, accepting Visa and Mastercard payment systems and for those who prefer, we still offer PayPal as well.

 

Do you have a price guarantee?
While we don't have a price guarantee as such, we're constantly reviewing our pricing structure. Hopefully you've noticed our standard Recommended Retail Prices (RRP) are quite reasonable. We're working as hard as we can to provide you the best products at the best prices. Being a small Melbourne bike shop, it's not easy to be competitive with the big stores or overseas mail-orders, but we're doing our bit all while still focussing on our already renowned great customer experiences.

Do you see an item that is WAAAAY over priced? Let us know. Email us the link if you've seen it cheaper somewhere else and we'll reassess our prices.

 

Can I get the Online Price in store?
Online prices are set for online purchases. To take advantage of the online prices, purchases must be made through the Riding Way website. You can still opt to collect in store if you wish. Just chose the collect in store option in the simple checkout process.

 

My DISCOUNT CODE isn't working, can I still get my discount?
Online discounts must be applied at time of purchase. We cannot apply the discount after your online order has been submitted. If your code is due to expire, can't find the discount code or have any issue, please contact us immediately & PRIOR to placing your order online. We will respond same day during business hours or next day if it's outside our store trading times.

 

Is there only one Riding Way shop?
Yes. Just one at this stage. Right now, our only store is at 77 Poath Rd, Murrumbeena, Victoria 3163. All 'click & Collect' orders can be picked up here and if you're in the area, we'd love you to visit.

 

What are your store hours?
Monday - Thursday: 8am - 6pm
Friday: 8am - 7pm
Saturday: 10am - 2pm 
Sunday: CLOSED for riding purposes. 
Public Holiday: Yeah, nah! We're closed on public holidays. There's beer to drink, mountains to climb and families who need attention.

 

How do I view my orders?
This is the beauty of signing up and registering with the Riding Way bicycle shop website, you can easily view all your past order information. When you login, you can click onto the account link at the very top of the page and see all previous orders. Simple

 

Updating Account Information
In the 'My Account' link at the top, you can edit all of your personal details.
